Free Radon Test Kits Available to Pennsylvania Residents
from The American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic
Provided by a Grant from the Radon Division
Pennsylvania residents interested in testing their homes for radon may request a free kit from the American Lung Association.
- Place the radon test kit in the lowest lived-in level of your home.
- Allow the radon test kit to sample your home's air for four to seven days before returning the kit to the testing laboratory for analysis.
- Return postage is pre-paid.
- Limit of one radon kit per household.
- Radon kits are distributed by region on a first-requested, first-served basis.
- Test kits are available only to Pennsylvania residents.
- Please allow four to eight weeks for delivery.
- Because supplies are limited, do not request a Test Kit unless you are sure you will actually use it.
- Request your Radon Test Kit from the American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlanic.

EPA's Radon Video Contest: Winning Entry
In July 2008, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency asked for 30-60 second video submissions with the theme "Radon: Test, Fix, Save a Life" which encourage Americans to test and fix their homes for radon. The EPA received over 30 entries which you can view online.
The winning entry was "Eddie's Story" by Benjamin Schultz and Michael Gentilini.
