Purpose

The Groundwater Symposium 2002 is the third annual symposium sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. The purpose is to bring together federal, state and local groundwater scientists and managers to exchange information and ideas about effective groundwater protection programs. The goal of the symposium is to promote the protection and prudent use of Pennsylvania’s groundwater resources.  The symposium will consist of three plenary sessions and 15 breakout sessions running three at a time. Sessions will last 30 to 40 minutes.
