Colleges & Universities
Whether you are a college administrator concerned about increasing solid waste disposal costs or a recycling-conscientious student, you need to initiate a recycling program at your institution. Many products are produced at colleges and universities, which can be recycled. When setting up a program, concentrate on areas that produce significant amounts of waste. Steps for Successful Recycling:
1. Find a local market, recycling service company, or waste hauler that will accept the materials.
2. Evaluate the waste generated in different areas and determine where the recycling bins should be placed. Find out HOW TO CONDUCT A WASTE AUDIT.
