Smurfit Stone's reclamation business handles approximately 6.5 million tons of recovered paper annually through their 23 reclamation facilities, 12 domestic sales offices, and their office in Shanghai, China. The recycling programs at Smurfit-Stone are an integral part of the company's philosophy and commitment to being the premier packaging company in North America. In addition to being the world's largest paper-based packaging company, Smurfit-Stone also operates the world's largest paper reclamation business.

Smurfit-Stone is a leading U.S. exporter of recycled paper, shipping to more than 30 countries.
