Mine Subsidence Insurance
Provides property owners with insurance coverage if they are located within coal mining regions of Pennsylvania. Property owners can use online systems at www.paMSI.org to check for local mine conditions, submit MSI coverage applications or they can call 800-922-1678  to speak to a program representative. Major premium rate reductions of more than 25% took effect on January 1, 2009, that make the inexpensive coverage even more affordable. The premium for the average policy value of $130,000 is now only $7 a month for residential coverage and $14 a month for non-residential.
