Mercury Related Web Sites

The P3ERIE logo was developed by Matt McIntosh of the Edinboro University Graphic Arts Practicum. The logo portrays the Erie Bicentennial Tower and a rising sun, both representing a new approach to environmental protection. The stylized water and bird represent the Erie area's natural resources.

The MercERIE mascot was developed by Scott Dopierala, formerly of the Edinboro University Graphics Arts Program, now living in Oregon.  MercERIE is based on Mercury, the swift messenger of the Roman gods and god of commerce. MercERIE is an appropriate symbol of P3ERIE's mercury campaign, swiftly spreading the message of mercury pollution prevention.
