PA Small Business Development Center
The Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center is the college and university based recognized leader in providing high quality education and consulting to Pennsylvania entrepreneurs to help them start, compete and grow in the competitive global economy. SBDC's Environmental Management Assistance Program offers free confidential compliance assistance and pollution prevention advice to Small Businesses.

ETAC: A Powerful Resource for Manufacturers
Learn more about the Electrotechnology Applications Center (ETAC). Located on the Northampton Community College campus, the Center is helping small to mid-sized manufacturers keep their competitive edge while streamlining application procedures. Partnering with the PA Department of Environmental Protection, ETAC has worked to prevent the release of 3,300 tons of air pollution over the past two years.

P2E2 Site Visit Program
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's Office of Energy and Technology Development has been conducting non-regulatory Pollution Prevention/Energy Efficiency (P2/E2) site visits at businesses and industries across the Commonwealth that are free of charge since 1995. To date, DEP has conducted 358 site visits. PA DEP can help you save money while improving your environmental performance.

EMAP
EMAP provides free, confidential services to small businesses in Pennsylvania to help them understand and comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
EMAP provides assistance with:

Air, waste and water quality regulations at the county, state, and federal levels;
Pollution prevention;
Energy efficiency;
Environmental self-audits; and
Environmental financing.
EMAP also provides links to other sources of technical assistance.

PENNTAP
Penntap helps Pennsylvania businesses improve their competitiveness by providing free technical assistance and information to help resolve specific technical questions or needs that can be addressed within a limited amount of time.
