Save the Date -- February 19th, 2003 at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa. Celebrate one year of accomplishments and plan for future IOF activities in Pennsylvania. The program will include short courses, networking, poster session and more. Be on the look out for more information in future additions of this newsletter. Tentative date! January 16th 2003. A steam workshop prepared by the Alliance to Save Energy in conjunction with DEP, DOE and the Electrotechnology Application Center (ETAC) in Bethlehem Pa. is being developed. Stay tuned for more details registration information.

What's new on the PAIOF site?

Aluminum page updated: The aluminum IOF page has been recently updated to include information specific to Pa.'s Aluminum Industry sector. Facts about what aluminum is, aluminum's economic impact, advantages to using aluminum, and information about the institute of Metal Forming at Lehigh has been added. A new website dedicated to the Aluminum IOF is now being hosted on Lehigh's Institute of Metal Forming website. Access to this website can be gained by clicking through the PAIOF site to Aluminum. Website being developed for February IOF statewide symposium: A website is being developed and planning underway for a two-day symposium to take place in Lehigh, Pa. February 19th. Information regarding the event and registration information will begin to appear on the PAIOF site and a sister site being developed by Lehigh University.
