U.S. EPA Endangered Species Protection Program
http://www.epa.gov/espp/

The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Pesticide Programs has released an Internet site for information on the Agency's role in protecting Endangered Species. The Endangered Species Protection Program (ESPP) is largely voluntary at the present time and relies on cooperation between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), EPA regions, states, and pesticide users. The program has two goals. The first is to provide the best protection for endangered species from the use of pesticides. The second is to minimize the impact of our program on pesticide users. The Internet site includes information about the program, using county location information, species maps, and for the kids a "Save Our Species" coloring book.
