Groundwater Protection

The road to groundwater protection takes many routes through DEP. Although the Groundwater Protection Program originates in the Bureau of Watershed Management, most activities from oil and gas drilling to landfills have specific regulations, guidelines and best management practices that are used to protect our groundwater resources.
