Purpose: To provide information on Pennsylvania's Section 319 Nonpoint Source (PA's NPS) Program so that the Liaison Workgroup can organize and develop a work plan to begin the task of assisting DEP in the revision of PA's NPS Assessment Report and Management Plan over the next two years. The results of this effort will affect the direction of the Commonwealth's Nonpoint Program including the allocation of staff and grant resources, and the NPS Program's interaction with other agencies involved in NPS issues.

10:15 a.m. Unassessed Waters Program Garry Price, Barbara Lathrop

11:00 a.m. Total Maximum Daily Loadings (TMDLs) Nicki Kasi

11:30 a.m. Citizen Monitoring Program Initiatives Diane Wilson

12:00 Lunch (on your own)

1:00 p.m. Break into smaller workgroups to brainstorm on:

• short and long term goals (Refer to Working Notebook §9 APPENDIX A #1.)
• measures of success (Working Notebook §10 APPENDIX B)

2:15 p.m. Decide:

• team leader for the smaller group
• schedule meeting dates and locations
• request for any additional information

2:30 p.m. Regroup in 1st floor conference room. Each group present summary of brainstorming.

3:00 p.m. Set next meeting for the Liaison Workgroup meeting.
