Preparing the 1998 Earth Day Mailing

In January, DEP Secretary James M. Seif and 237 volunteers from DEP, DCNR and other state agencies gathered in the Rachel Carson State Office Building, home to both DEP and DCNR, for three days to assist the Pennsylvania Center for Environmental Education in mailing Earth Day packets to all school buildings in Pennsylvania. The packages include water related information, posters activities, background information and teaching tools.
