Chemical and Physical Properties Search Page
General Searching Instructions -- In brief, you should simply fill in the CAS number for the compound you want to search over, then press the Submit button. The Chemical and Physical Properties Database web server will locate all available chemical and physical property values for that compound. If you don't know the CAS number for the compound, you may search the CAS number first with chemical name. To search with full chemical name, letters of the chemical name should be entered first. For example, 1,1,2-trichloroethane should be entered as "trichloroethane, 1,1,2-" instead of "1,1,2-trichloroethane". Otherwise, you may just enter "trichloro" to get CAS numbers for all compounds with chemical names containing "trichloro", such as "Trichloroethane, 1,1,1-", "Trichloroethylene", "Trichlorophenol, 2,4,5-", "Fluorotrichloromethane", etc. The CAS numbers should be entered with "nnnnnn-nn-n" format, such as "15950-66-0".
