Coastal
and Estuarine Land Conservation Program (CELCP) |

The United States Congress and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce created the CELCP "for the purpose of protecting important coastal and estuarine areas that have significant conservation, recreation, ecological, historical, or aesthetic values, or that are threatened by conversion from their natural or recreational state to other uses." A 'Request for Proposals' (RFP) is hereby solicited for FFY 2012 and is intended to provide candidate-projects to NOAA on potential eligible CELCP projects that are available within Pennsylvania's Lake Erie, Delaware Estuary, and selected Chesapeake Bay watersheds.
