Announcement Solicitation of Projects for 2012 Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Program |

| Coastal Resources Management Program, Water Planning Office, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, will begin accepting project proposals for its 2012 Coastal Non-point Pollution Program (CNPP) from August 19, 2011 to October 17, 2011. The grant award period will run from - October 1, 2012 to March 31, 2014* * NOTE!!! County Conservation Districts will be funded from October 1, 2012 to September 30, 2013 (12 month grant) contingent upon federal appropriations. CNPP projects must be located within the boundaries of Pennsylvania's Coastal Non-point Program management area. This includes watersheds of all streams flowing into Pennsylvania's coastal waters within Pennsylvania (tidal Delaware River tributaries, except for the Christiana basin, and Lake Erie tributaries, except for Conneaut Creek). Eligible Applicants: State agencies, local and county governments and authorities, schools, colleges and universities and other registered non-profit organizations. Potential applicants should first discuss their proposed project with one of DEP's Watershed Managers located in Central Office, the Southeast Regional Office (for the Delaware Coastal Zone) or the Northwest Regional Office (for the Lake Erie Coastal Zone). Applications must be submitted electronically using the Environmental eGrants system accessible at: https://www.grants.dcnr.state.pa.us Please refer to the CRM "Grant Application Instruction Guide" (as revised in May 2011) for more detailed program information. The eGrants website also provides a Help section for technical assistance on using the online application. We recommend that you consult both of these sources before starting an application.
