WELCOME
You are at the homepage of the Land Recycling Program online submission site
for Notice of Intent to Remediate (NIR). The use of this online form is optional.
As an option, you download
the NIR form and instructions for off-line editing, and then submit the data
in hard copy to the appropriate regional office.
INTRODUCTION
Performance of a site remediation under the provisions of Act 2 requires municipal, public, and Department notification. The intent of notification is to make the municipality, public, and Department aware that a person intends to remediate a site. The formal process for conducting remediation under Act 2 is initiated with submission of the Notice of Intent to Remediate (NIR) to the Department. The procedures for submission of the NIR and notification requirements are detailed in the Land Recycling Program Technical Guidance Manual.
